ABOUT THE WEBSITE
About TreatGout
Our aim is to improve the quality of gout care by making evidence-based information and practical tools available to patients and healthcare professionals.
Why TreatGout?
Gout is the most common form of inflammatory arthritis in the UK. Although highly effective treatments are available, gout remains one of the least well-managed inflammatory conditions. TreatGout aims to close the gap between evidence and everyday care by providing accessible patient education, practical guidance for clinicians and links to research.
TreatGout is being developed through work at King's College London, supported by NIHR-funded research to improve gout care and guideline implementation.
The GuideALIGN research programme is supported by an NIHR Advanced Fellowship. The views expressed on this website are those of the authors and not necessarily those of the NIHR, the Department of Health and Social Care, or King's College London.
